Slipper Socks

For some of you slipper socks might just be a last minute gift idea for some one that you cant think of anything else to get or some one that you just don’t know very well or even just because you forgot to get something for them.  Let me tell you though, slipper socks should never be a last minute gift because nearly every one loves them!  Slipper socks are great for every one of all ages and of all sexes, in fact I even buy them for myself!

There is one thing that you can be sure and that is that every Christmas and birth day, if you know me, then you will be getting a new pair of slipper socks among other things.  They are just so comfortable, durable and they come in so many different colors that you just cant go wrong.  On a cold winters day or night, who doesn’t love a great and warm pair of slipper socks to slide into?  Everyone loves them.

Of course there is more to slipper socks than just being warm.  Many of them also have a non slip bottom.  Not all of them do but I would say that most of them do.  They are so colorful and come in so many different styles from ankle slipper socks to pairs that will go well above the knee!  I just love everything about them!  I have even seen some of the slipper socks that have tassels and pom poms on them!  There just isn’t a dull moment with slipper socks.

Although I would have to say that my favorite thing about slipper socks is when everyone gathers around the Christmas tree on Christmas morning and I hand out every ones stockings and the first thing they all do is pull out their new pair of slipper socks and put them on!  It really warms my heart and warms their feet!

One other great place and a great reason to get a nice pair of slipper socks is for pregnant women that are getting ready to have their baby.  The reason is because the slipper socks will really allow for a lot of give and are very flexible and that typical non slip bottom will help to keep her from taking a slip if she decides to go for a walk while she is in labor.  Not to mention the fact that slipper socks will keep her feet warm and if she has an epidural then keeping her feet warm will be very important to her since she wont really be able to feel them.  So keep slipper socks for every ones birth day, Christmas or any other special occasions.
